Polbathic is the one down by the water in Fowey. It’s about two minutes on foot into town. You don’t need to move your car once you're there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable. It used to be a shop, so it's got those old multi-paned windows. They’re nice.
The living room is upstairs. There’s a balcony that runs along the front and side. You can sit out there and look over to Polruan and out to sea.
Readymoney Cove, which is sandy, is a fifteen-minute walk. You can get to the coast path from there.
Inside, there’s a kitchen and dining area. It’s got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a small terrace off the master bedroom with a view up the river. Parking is on site.
The National Trust Cornwall page is good for planning trips. So is the South West Coast Path site, which covers all the walks.
