Polbathic
Polbathic is right on the waterfront in Fowey. It used to be a shop, so it's got those big windows with lots of panes at the front. You can see the river from most rooms.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is a bit different because of what it was. The front door from the street goes straight into the kitchen and dining area. The main living room is upstairs. It's a bright room with patio doors that open onto a balcony. The balcony goes along the front and side. You can see across to Polruan, up the river, and out to the sea.
The master bedroom has its own door out to a private terrace, which also looks over the water.
Location is the main thing here. It's about a two minute walk into the centre of Fowey. Readymoney Cove, which is a sandy beach, is about a fifteen minute walk. You're right on the esplanade.
In terms of stuff, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
For days out, you're well placed. The South West Coast Path is right there. The National Trust has lots of places nearby like Lanhydrock. You can get the ferry over to Polruan, or up to Bodinnick. Mevagissey, Charlestown, and the Eden Project are all within half an hour's drive.
