Roadstead is on the Esplanade in Fowey. It's right on the river. You get a view of it from every room, which is the main thing. You can watch the boats going up and down to Polruan and out to sea.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy when you've got a few people staying. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The living room is long and has windows at both ends, so it's light. Downstairs, there are French doors that open onto a big sun terrace. You can sit out there with a coffee or have lunch outside, looking at the river.
You can walk into the town centre and the harbour in a few minutes. All the shops and places to eat are there. In the other direction, it's about a fifteen minute walk to Readymoney Cove. That's a sandy beach.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
For a day out, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about twenty minutes' drive. The National Trust Cornwall page is good for other places like Lanhydrock. The Fowey website has local information.
