Moorside is a flat above the old stables on our estate. It’s on the first floor, up a flight of granite steps. It’s for two people.
The living room looks out over the valley. There’s a kitchen with the basics, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a bath and an electric shower over it. You have your own decking outside the front door. It gets the sun in the evening and you can see right down the Fowey valley from it.
The flat is part of the main house grounds. There are woodland paths and gardens you're welcome to walk in. They’re not pristine, but they’re nice for a stroll.
Lostwithiel is about a ten minute walk downhill. It’s a small town with a river, some antique shops, a couple of pubs, and a good bakery. There’s a farmers' market on Fridays.
The nearest proper beach is at Par, about a ten minute drive. It’s sandy. Fowey is fifteen minutes by car. It’s a proper harbour town with narrow streets and nice places to eat.
The Eden Project is about twenty minutes away. Bodmin Moor is half an hour for walking. Charlestown, with the old ships, is fifteen minutes. If you want a longer coastal walk, the South West Coast Path is accessible from several points nearby.
Facilities are included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, parking, and a washing machine. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a cot if you need it.
