Moorside is an apartment for two people, on the first floor of a stable block on our estate near Lostwithiel. You get your own entrance up a flight of granite steps. They're solid, but they are proper Cornish steps, so take your time.
It's one bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over it. The living space is all open plan. It's got everything you need, but it's compact. The best bit is the private deck. It catches the evening sun and looks out over the valley.
The grounds are shared with a few other cottages. There's a big Georgian house in the middle and lots of gardens and woodland paths to wander. It's quiet.
Lostwithiel is about a fifteen minute walk down the hill. It's a small old town on the river Fowey. There's a Co-op, a few pubs that do food, some antique shops, and a weekly farmers' market. The Lanhydrock estate is a few minutes’ drive away, good for a serious walk or a bike ride.
By car, you're about twenty minutes from the south coast. Par sands is the nearest beach, it's a long stretch of sand. Fowey is a bit further, it's a pretty harbour town with narrow streets. The Eden Project is about a twenty-five minute drive. Bodmin Moor is roughly half an hour north if you want proper moorland walks.
In terms of what's here: there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot if you need one. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
