Copper Beech is one of two lodges here in Lanlivery. It's in a quiet wooded valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and comfortable.
The stairs are inside. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a barbecue you can use. The garden is shared with the other lodge, Daisy Lodge, but it's a big space.
You can walk to the village in a few minutes. The pub there, The Crown, is very old and does food. It's a proper local.
Lostwithiel is the nearest town, just over the hill. It's got a few shops, a couple of cafes, and the river runs through it. Restormel Castle is there too, it's an English Heritage site. English Heritage: Restormel Castle.
From here, the south coast is about a fifteen to twenty minute drive. Fowey is lovely for pottering about. Charlestown has the old ships. Looe and Polperro are the classic Cornish fishing villages you see in pictures.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're looking for walk ideas or places to visit, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, and so is the Cornwall AONB site.
