Haybarn is a converted barn on the edge of Fowey. It's one of a small group of stone cottages, so you'll see other people coming and going. You've got your own little garden out the front with a picnic bench.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's good and comfortable. The main living area is all open plan, kitchen and sitting room together.
It's in a quiet spot but you can walk into Fowey. It takes about 20 minutes, maybe a bit longer on the way back as it's uphill. The beach at Readymoney Cove is a bit closer, maybe 15 minutes walk downhill. There's a small shop a few minutes away. The nearest pub is about a ten minute walk.
Fowey is nice. It's got narrow streets, some independent shops, and places to eat on the quay. You can get boat trips from there, sometimes to see dolphins. If you're into walking, the South West Coast Path runs right through.
In terms of things to do nearby, the Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a bit further, maybe half an hour. Mevagissey is a similar drive. Newquay and Padstow are about 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the cottage. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shared play area for children on the grounds.
