Sea Star Cottage

Sea Star Cottage is on the high street in Fowey. It's a semi-detached house, so there are neighbours on one side.

It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's comfortable, not just basic. The toilet is downstairs.

There's a bench out the front where you can sit and look at the estuary. The kitchen has an Aga. It heats the room and you can cook on it. There's a wood burner in the living room. The back is a small courtyard with a barbecue.

Fowey is busy. It's a proper working harbour. The nearest beach is Readymoney Cove, about a ten minute walk down the hill. St Catherine's Castle is up above that beach. You can walk to it from the car park.

The ferry over to Polruan leaves from the town quay. It takes about two minutes. From there you can do the Hall Walk, which is a good circular route with great views back to Fowey.

In the other direction, you can walk along the coast path towards Polkerris beach. That's about a mile and a half.

For bigger days out, the Eden Project is about twenty minutes' drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are maybe half an hour. Mevagissey is a short drive up the coast, or you can get a boat there from Fowey in the summer.

Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed. The pub is about fifty yards away, and there are shops very close.
