The Old Coach House

The Old Coach House is in the middle of St Austell. It's detached. It used to be part of a coaching inn, which is just a bit of history, nothing you'd really notice inside.

It's for two people. One double bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything you'd need is there.

It's open plan downstairs. The kitchen's in the same room as the living area. That works fine for a couple.

You can walk to the shops and a couple of pubs in a few minutes. The train station is close too, if you're coming by rail or want to explore without the car.

The Eden Project is about four miles away. It's a big draw. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about six miles. Both are worth a visit.

For the coast, Charlestown harbour is very close. It's historic, with the tall ships. Mevagissey is a bit further, a proper fishing village. There are lots of beaches and coves around, you can drive to a different one each day if you want. Good walking on the coast path.

Facilities are straightforward. Washing machine, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ. No pets.
