Berlewen
This is Berlewen. It's one of the apartments at Polhaun, up above Mevagissey. The view is the main thing. You get the whole harbour from your window, and you can see right around the bay. It's up the hill, so you're looking down on it.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's open plan inside, so the living, kitchen and dining area is all one room.
You get your own little patio with a table and chairs to sit out. There's a proper parking space right there, which is useful because parking in the village itself can be a real hassle.
It's about a mile walk down into Mevagissey. Steep walk back up. The village has shops, cafes, and a few pubs that do food. It's a proper working fishing harbour, so it's busy. The coastal path goes right from there.
If you want a sandy beach, Pentewan is about two miles along the coast. For something bigger to do, the Eden Project is a 20 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are even closer, about 10 minutes. Charlestown, with the old ships, is maybe 15 minutes by car.
Facilities wise: there's WiFi, TV, your own parking, and bedding and towels are included. No pets.
