Penty Rosen
Penty Rosen is one of a pair of converted barns on our farm. It's in Lower Sticker, which is a quiet spot inland from the coast. We've got about 150 acres here, so you'll see the cows and the tractors about.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The barns share the indoor heated swimming pool, just a short walk across the courtyard. That's for your use only, not the whole farm. It's good if the weather turns.
You've got your own patio area outside the back door. It's fairly secluded, gets the sun in the afternoon.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in Sticker village.
You're well placed for getting about. Mevagissey harbour is a ten minute drive. Pentewan beach, which is sandy, is about three miles. You can hire bikes there and ride the Pentewan Trail.
Within half an hour you've got The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like Trelissick. Fowey is not far, which has the Daphne du Maurier connection. For a longer walk on the coast, the South West Coast Path is easily reached.
