Sowenna
Sowenna is one of the apartments at Polhaun, just outside Mevagissey. It's my place, I live next door. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the harbour and the bay from your own patio. You get a private parking space, which is handy because parking in Mevagissey itself can be tricky.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's all on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You can walk down into Mevagissey in about twenty minutes, maybe a bit less coming back up. It's a proper old fishing harbour. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat down there. The coastal path runs both ways from the village. Portmellon is a short walk the other way, it's got a beach that's covered at high tide.
If you want to drive, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about ten minutes away. The Eden Project is maybe twenty minutes. Charlestown, with the old ships, is about a fifteen minute drive.
The apartment has WiFi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. The parking is right there. There's no garden as such, but you've got the patio with the table and chairs, and you're welcome to sit in the shared grounds.
