Sweet's Close is in Polgooth, which is inland a bit, a couple of miles from St Austell. It's a detached bungalow. You're on a quiet lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, so a bathroom each. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and well-kept. The layout is all on one level, which is useful. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings.
There's a good-sized garden. It's enclosed with a gate, so it's safe for a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet. Parking is on the drive.
Facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
Polgooth has a pub, The Polgooth Inn, which is a short walk. It serves food. The nearest beach is at Pentewan, about two miles away. It's a sand and shingle beach, good for families. The South West Coast Path is accessible from there.
For a day out, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are very close, maybe a five minute drive. Mevagissey harbour is about ten minutes away by car. The Eden Project is within a twenty minute drive. Further afield, you've got Truro, Fowey, and Charlestown all within half an hour.
