Penfose Apartment is on the second floor above a garage, about a ten-minute walk uphill from the harbour in Mevagissey. It’s an apartment, so you share the building, but the space is all yours.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s modern and light, and the main thing is the view. You look right over the village rooftops to the harbour and the sea. You can watch the boats come and go.
The walk down to the village is okay, but it’s steep coming back up. Something to know. There’s parking right outside the apartment, which helps.
In the village, there’s everything you’d expect: shops, pubs, places to eat, and the working harbour. You can get fishing trips from there if that’s your thing.
For days out, The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both about a 20-minute drive. The coastal path is right there if you want to walk. Charlestown harbour, which you might recognise from TV, is about a 15-minute drive north.
The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an enclosed patio area with furniture. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I’m afraid.
