Memory Cottage
Memory Cottage is in Mevagissey. It's on the first and second floor of a building by the harbour, about fifty yards from the quay. It used to be a net loft for fishermen.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating. The views from the main room are good. You look straight out over the water.
It's an old building, so the stairs inside are quite steep. That's worth knowing. The living space is all open-plan. There's a TV and the kitchen has what you need.
You're right in the village. The shops and pubs are a minute's walk away. The harbour's the main thing. You can watch the boats, go crabbing, or get a trip out from the quay.
For walking, the South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk to Gorran Haven one way or Pentewan the other. The path to Pentewan is also a cycle trail.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a ten minute drive. They're big Victorian gardens, quite spectacular. Charlestown, which has old ships and a museum, is about fifteen minutes away by car. The Eden Project is roughly twenty minutes inland.
In terms of what's here, the bedding is included. There's a shower, a TV, and parking can be tricky in the village but there is a public car park a short walk away. No pets, sorry.
