Babblebrook Cottage is in Tregavarras, near Gorran Haven in Cornwall. It's about a quarter of a mile from Porthluney Cove, which is a lovely beach.
The cottage sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating. So it's comfortable, clean and a bit old fashioned, but not luxury. The stairs are quite steep. It's a listed building, so that's just how they are.
The garden is peaceful and leads right down to a small stream. You can hear it from the house. It's a proper, mature garden with different places to sit. There's a barbecue you can use.
The living room has a wood burning stove. There's a separate dining room and a kitchen with a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking for one car.
You can get straight onto some good walks from the door. The coastal path is close. Porthluney Beach is down the hill, it's sandy and good for families. Caerhays Castle and Gardens is half a mile away. The gardens are stunning in spring.
Gorran Haven is a few minutes drive east. Mevagissey is about 15 minutes. Going west, you've got Portscatho and St Mawes, which is about a 25 minute drive. The whole Roseland peninsula is right there to explore.
You can bring up to two dogs. Pheasants do wander through the garden sometimes, just so you know.
