Verbena Cottage is in Veryan, on the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall. It's an 18th century place, but it's been extended and the inside is modern. There's an off-road parking space.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. Everything's on one level except the bedrooms, which are upstairs. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than a modern house.
Downstairs is mostly one big open room. You've got the kitchen, then a dining bit, then the living area with a sofa and TV. The back of the room has big windows looking out over the garden. There's also a separate utility room with a washing machine and a sink. It's good for coming in with wet coats or dogs. There's a downstairs shower room too.
The garden at the back has a patio, a lawn, and some flower beds. It's enclosed. The front has a smaller cottage garden.
Veryan is a small village. It's got the famous Round Houses, a pub, a shop with a post office, and a church. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beaches at Carne and Pendower are about a mile away. Portloe, which is a proper old fishing village, is under two miles. The coastal path there is dramatic.
For a bigger town, Truro is about twelve miles. St. Mawes is about eight miles and has shops and restaurants, plus the ferry over to Falmouth.
The cottage has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
