Penjerrick
This is Penjerrick, in Coombe. It's part of the Tregothnan Estate. The cottage looks out over the River Fal.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Inside, there's a sitting room with a wood burner, a separate dining room, and the kitchen. The stairs are fairly standard.
The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. We take two. There's a patio area with a BBQ and that view of the river.
You're about a ten minute drive from Truro. It's a proper city with shops, a cinema, and places to eat. For the coast, you drive the other way. The King Harry Ferry takes you across to the Roseland. The National Trust looks after a lot of that coastline.
Falmouth is about 20 minutes by car. You can get boats from there to St Mawes. Newquay and its surf beaches are roughly half an hour north. Padstow is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.
Closer by, there's a watersports place at Loe Beach if you fancy sailing. Mostly it's quiet here. Good for walking and watching the boats on the river.
The place has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
