Holly Cottage
Holly Cottage is in Coombe, near Truro. It's down a lane by the estuary. You can see the water from some of the windows.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is useful. Two bedrooms are in the main house upstairs, the beds can be singles or doubles. The third bedroom is in a side extension. You have to go through the downstairs wet room and up some separate stairs to get to it. Those stairs are steep and narrow, just so you know.
The living area is all open plan. There's a wood burner for when it's cold. The kitchen has what you need. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs, and you can bring two. There's parking.
Truro is about ten minutes by car. It's got all the shops, a cinema, and places to eat. For beaches, you're looking at about nine miles to the south coast ones, or 16 miles up to Newquay for the surf. Padstow is roughly 20 miles.
If you like boats, Falmouth and St Mawes aren't far. There's a watersports place at Loe Beach. Good walking is on the Roseland Peninsula, you can get the King Harry Ferry across.
