Pennygillam
Pennygillam is in St Mawes, up the hill from the harbour. The walk down to the shops and the water is about four minutes, it's all downhill.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home. There's a parking space right at the front, which is a big deal here. You don't have to worry about it.
The front room and one bedroom look straight out to sea. You can see the water from the armchair. There's a TV and a DVD player. The kitchen has a big table for everyone and an Aga. There's a dishwasher and a utility room with a washing machine. The stairs are fine.
Outside, there's a small garden at the back with a lawn and a table. At the front, there's a bench where you can sit and look at the view.
You can walk to two beaches and the castle. The St Mawes Castle is English Heritage. For a longer trip, the ferry to Falmouth runs from the harbour. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Trelissick Garden, which is about a twenty minute drive.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. The house has WiFi. We accept up to two dogs.
