Meeresblick is in St Just in Roseland, just outside the village itself. It's a house for big groups, really. Sleeps thirteen, seven bedrooms. Has two bathrooms for everyone to share.
The place has been done up. It's modern inside. The kitchen is new and has all the stuff you'd need. The main living room is big and bright. There's an open fire for colder evenings.
The best thing is the view. You look out over fields and down to the creek. The dining room has it, and so does the main bedroom upstairs. The garden wraps around the house. There are a few different patio areas with seating, so you can chase the sun or get some shade. Good for a barbecue. There's a lawn too, on different levels.
You can park four cars on the drive. There's a garage you can use for bikes or wetsuits. It has a tumble dryer in it, which is handy.
The village is quiet and green, with nice gardens. The church is famous, it's down by the water in a sort of bowl-shaped graveyard full of plants. It's worth a look. You can walk down through the woods to the creek from there.
You're on the Roseland peninsula. It's a quiet part of Cornwall. The beaches are good here. Towan, Porthkerrick, Pendower, Portholland - all within a short drive. It's more about cliffs and rivers than big resorts. St Mawes is about three miles south for shops and places to eat.
For a bigger day out, Truro is about half an hour's drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast nearby if you're walking. The Cornwall National Landscape site has maps and information.
Facilities: All the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. You can bring two dogs. It has a 4 Star rating.
