The cottage is called Cobblestones. It's in St Mawes, right in the village itself. It's in a little courtyard, so it's quiet, but you're only a minute's walk from the front and all the shops and restaurants.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. We take pets, up to two. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable but it's still a cottage.
The layout is a bit quirky. It's an old building, so there are nooks and crannies. The stairs are standard cottage stairs. The kitchen is a good size and has a dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room is cosy. There's underfloor heating downstairs.
One of the best bits is the roof terrace. It gets the sun and has a table, chairs, and a BBQ.
St Mawes itself is lovely. There are a couple of small beaches, maybe a five minute walk. The village has pubs, cafes, and places to buy pasties. It's a big sailing spot.
You're right on the coast path for walking. For a day out, you can get the ferry over to Falmouth from the pier. The National Trust's Trelissick is about a twenty-minute drive up the river. Truro is half an hour away if you need a bigger town or the cathedral.
What's included: all the bedding and towels, WiFi, a TV, a cot, and a highchair. There's parking for one car on the courtyard.
