Hideaway is in St Mawes. It's the ground floor of our house, but you have your own front door and it's totally separate. You're underneath us, but you won't hear us. The view from there is the main thing. It's a big, straight view out over the bay. It's good.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well done. Because of the view, we put big sliding doors in the living room and the main bedroom. You can open them right up onto the terrace. The twin room has a good view too.
There are 14 steps down from the drive to get to your front door. There's a handrail. Up by the drive, we let you use the utility room in the boathouse. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in there, plus a decent shower which is handy for washing off sand.
The village centre is about a four minute walk. You can get to the harbour, the pubs, and the shops easily, but it's quiet up here. The beach is about a third of a mile.
For facilities, you've got the dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful. For the local area, Cornwall Council's coastal path info is the place for walk maps. The Roseland Peninsula site has general information.
