The Boathouse
The Boathouse is in St Mawes. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. You're right on the Percuil River. It's a converted sail loft, so the ceiling is beamed.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the water to Place Manor and the harbour. You'll see boats going past all day. There's a balcony and the living room window to watch from.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. The bathroom has a shower. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, TV, and wifi.
You can bring up to two dogs. The patio area is enclosed.
St Mawes harbour is a short walk along the front. There are shops and a couple of pubs there. The climate here is very mild.
If you've got a small boat, you can use the private slipway right in front. There are moorings available if you ask the owner in advance. They can also help arrange sailing or yacht trips for an extra charge. There's a rowing dinghy you can hire.
Please be aware the owner uses the slipway and the ground floor area sometimes. It's not all the time, but they do need access.
From the harbour you can get ferries to Falmouth and other places on the estuary. The coast path is right there for walking.
