Pegasus is in Falmouth. It's an apartment, but a big one, set in the grounds of the Falmouth Hotel. The building looks out over the sea.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after. The stairs are fine, nothing special to note.
The main living area is on the first floor. It's open plan, with big bi-fold doors that open onto a balcony. You can sit out there and watch the water. There's another balcony upstairs off one of the bedrooms.
You can use the hotel grounds and gardens. They've got a spa, a swimming pool, and a gym, but you have to pay extra to use those. Check with the hotel when you're there.
Falmouth itself is about a ten minute walk. It's got the usual shops, pubs, and cafes. There are three beaches nearby. Gyllyngvase is the biggest, about ten minutes down the road. Castle Beach is opposite, and Swanpool is a bit further along.
The Pendennis Castle is here, which is worth a visit. For walking, the South West Coast Path runs right past. If you like gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan are a short drive away.
You can hire stand-up paddleboards or canoes at the beach. There's also an e-bike hire stand nearby if you want to explore without walking.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
