Foretop
Foretop is in St Just in Roseland. It's a new house, built a few years ago. It's up on the hill above the creek.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. There's parking for two, maybe three cars. You can bring two dogs.
The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Doors open out onto a big terrace. The view from there is over the garden and fields, and you can see a bit of the creek. There's also a smaller snug room off the hall, which is a quiet spot.
Outside, there's a raised patio with a barbecue. The garden is on different levels, with steps down to other seating areas. It's quite private.
It's a short walk down the hill to St Just church and the water. The churchyard is very peaceful, right on the creek. St Mawes is about five minutes in the car. It's got shops, places to eat, and a castle. The King Harry Ferry is ten minutes away. That gets you across to the main road for Truro or Falmouth.
The nearest beach is about two miles. For bigger beaches, you're looking at about half an hour's drive towards the Lizard or the north coast.
It's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
