Coombe Villa
Coombe Villa is on the river in the village of Coombe. It's one of a few holiday lets here. You're in Cornwall but not right on the coast, it's about a 15 minute drive to the nearest proper beach.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. They all have their own bathroom or shower room, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside is a patio with a table and a barbecue. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of, you can bring up to two.
For supplies, Truro is your nearest big town, about 10 minutes by car. It has supermarkets, shops, a cinema, and places to eat. Newquay and its surf beaches are about 45 minutes north. Padstow is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes.
Closer by, for sailing and watersports, you've got Mylor and Falmouth. Loe Beach has a watersports centre. The Roseland Peninsula is nice for coastal walks, you get the King Harry Ferry across. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastal bits here. Their Cornwall page is useful for planning trips. They've also got Trelissick gardens nearby, which is a nice afternoon out.
Included in the price: bedding, towels, electricity. There's parking on site, wifi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed.
