Trosvik is in Portscatho. It's a big house right in the middle of the village, across the road from the beach access. It sleeps twelve, which is why we got it. It's a family place.
There are seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. The bathrooms are spread out, three are shower rooms. It's laid out over three floors. It's not fancy, but it's solid. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living room is big. There's a wood burner for winter and a TV you can use for streaming. The kitchen table extends to seat everyone. Through the kitchen is the utility room and a door to the parking space.
At the front there's a paved terrace. It gets the sun. You can sit out there.
The village has what you need. There's a shop, a butcher, a pub that does food, and cafes. The beach is just over the road. You can walk to Porthcurnick beach along the coast path in about twenty minutes.
Dogs are allowed, up to three. The facilities are all listed. There's wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
For days out, the whole Roseland peninsula is there. The National Trust Cornwall page is good for walks like the one to St Anthony's Head. The Visit Cornwall site has general information. Within half an hour you can drive to St Mawes for the castle, or to Veryan.
