2 The Quarry is in Portscatho. It's a townhouse on a little cul-de-sac near the top of the village. It sleeps eight.
The layout is upside-down, so you walk in on the middle floor. That's where the four bedrooms are. There's a double room with its own shower, a king-size room with big windows and a Juliet balcony, then two more bedrooms that share a family bathroom. The top floor is all one big space: kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The best thing is the balcony off that floor. It's a glass-sided one with a table, so you can sit outside with a full view over the rooftops to the sea. You can see Gerrans Bay from there.
It's a short walk down the hill to the harbour and the village shop. The Tregony Inn is down there too, and they do food. You can be on the coastal path in a few minutes.
There's one parking space right outside the garage. The garage is useful for storing bikes or wet beach gear. It's got a washing machine and tumble dryer in there as well.
If you've got a bigger group, you can book the two houses next door as well. All three together fit twenty.
It's handy for getting to other bits of the Roseland. St Mawes is about a fifteen minute drive. The King Harry Ferry to get across to the Trelissick estate and up towards Truro is maybe twenty minutes. For a good day out, the Trelissick gardens are worth it, or you can go down to St Anthony's Head to watch the boats.
What's here: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, a cot and highchair. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
