Trevellas is in Portscatho in Cornwall. It's an old coastguard cottage, so the main thing is the view. You look straight out over Gerrans Bay. You can see Nare Head and Gull Rock from the windows.
It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms upstairs. One has a king-size bed, one is a twin, and one is a single. Two of them face the sea. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower over the bath.
You get to it from the parking space on the landward side. You go through a bit of lawn and down some steps to a small yard at the back. The boiler room is there, which has the washing machine, tumble dryer, a toilet, and space for drying clothes.
The kitchen leads off from the yard. It's got what you need. The living room and dining area are all one space. The furniture is comfortable and you get that full view of the bay. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The village and harbour are about 400 yards away. There's a shop, an art gallery, and a well-known pub. The South West Coast Path runs right past the house. You can walk to a couple of sandy beaches in about ten minutes.
The garden is terraced. We've put some furniture out there. It's a good spot to sit.
Facilities: everything's included – wifi, electricity, bedding, towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. Sorry, no pets allowed.
If you're looking for places to visit, the National Trust for Cornwall site is useful. The South West Coast Path website has walking information.
