Trevellas
Trevellas is in Portscatho. It used to be a coastguard's place. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over Gerrans Bay towards Nare Head and Gull Rock. You can see the village harbour from the window.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms. One king size, one twin, and one single. Two bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You get to it from the parking spot on the road side. There's a bit of lawn, then some steps down to a small yard at the back. The boiler room is off the yard. It has a toilet, the washing machine, and a dryer in there. It's useful for wet coats and boots.
The kitchen is fine, it has what you need. The living room and kitchen are open plan. The table seats six. The furniture is comfortable. You'll spend most of your time looking at the view.
The garden is terraced. It has furniture. You can sit out there with a drink in the evening.
The village is about 400 yards down the hill. There's a shop, a gallery, and a pub. The pub is good. The South West Coast Path runs right past the cottage. Two sandy beaches are about ten minutes' walk away.
For days out, you're near the Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes is a short drive. The ferry to Falmouth runs from there. Truro is about half an hour by car if you need a bigger town.
Included facilities: parking, WiFi, TV, woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. No pets.
