The Old Dairy is a converted cottage in St Mawes. It's about a hundred yards from the water and the village centre, so you can walk to everything.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The space is mostly open plan downstairs. There's a range cooker, a wood burner for chilly evenings, and a proper table to eat at.
The stairs are traditional cottage stairs. They're fine, just mind your head a bit. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with its own shower room, which is handy.
Outside, there's a patio area up some steps from the front door. It gets the sun and you can see the sea from it. There's garden furniture, a BBQ, and a pizza oven out there.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. It has Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
St Mawes itself has a few pubs, cafes, shops, and a castle. You can get the foot ferry over to Falmouth from here, which is a nice way to do a day trip. The Roseland peninsula is good for walking.
For local beaches, you've got Porthcurnick or Towan about a 10-minute drive. The National Trust's Trelissick Garden is about half an hour away. For a bigger day out, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are roughly a 30-minute drive up past St Austell.
