This is Hazel Cottage in Falmouth. It's part of a holiday village. The grounds are nice, lots of gardens and little streams. It feels quieter than you'd expect.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for a family. There's a patio garden at the back.
On site, there's a kids' play area outside and a soft play bit inside. There are tennis courts and a gym if you want them. The café bar is open from April to October.
It's very close to the beaches. Swanpool and Maenporth are about a mile away. Gyllyngvase beach in Falmouth is bigger and sandy, with a café right on it. You can drive into Falmouth town in five minutes. Plenty of shops and places to eat down there. Good for fish and chips by the harbour.
For a walk, you can go around Pendennis Castle. You don't have to go in, you can just walk the grounds. The view from there is good. National Trust Cornwall has details on local gardens like Trebah if that's your thing.
If you want to surf, Porthleven is about half an hour's drive. Nice little harbour there.
Inside, there's the normal stuff: a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
