Helm is a first-floor apartment in St Mawes. It's not a cottage, it's in a modern block with nine others. You're right in the village.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One double with its own shower room, and one twin. There's a separate family bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a good layout for two couples or a family.
The living room has French doors that open to a Juliet balcony. You look out over the boat moorings. It's a proper working harbour view. The kitchen is modern and has everything, including a dishwasher.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, well-equipped, and practical. It's not a period place with character, but it's comfortable and does the job.
You're a minute's walk from the waterfront. The shop, the pub, the ferry landing, it's all on your doorstep. Summers Beach is just down the hill.
For days out, you can get the foot ferry over to Falmouth. The National Trust's Glendurgan Garden is about a twenty-minute drive. The Trelissick Garden is also within half an hour. St Just-in-Roseland church garden is a ten-minute drive and it's worth seeing.
