Spinnakers
Spinnakers is a cottage in Falmouth. It's on a row of houses that look right over Pendennis Marina. The big thing is the location. You're about a quarter of a mile from the town centre, Pendennis Castle, and one of the local beaches.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, bike storage, and parking on site.
Because it's an old terrace, the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We've put a stairgate at the top. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones. No pets, sorry.
The beach at Castle Beach is the closest, just down the hill. The town is a short walk away for shops, pubs, and restaurants. You don't really need the car.
Pendennis Castle is right there. It's an English Heritage site and the views from the ramparts are good. For a longer walk, you can follow the coast path towards Swanpool or Gyllyngvase beach.
If you do drive, Trebah Garden is about twenty minutes away. The National Maritime Museum in town is worth a visit if the weather turns. For planning, the main sites are: Pendennis Castle and Cornwall Council Public Rights of Way for walking maps.
