This is Upper Warren in St Mawes. It's ours, we rent it out.
It's an upside-down house. The living room and kitchen are upstairs because the view is better. You can see the quay and the River Percuil from the balcony. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor. There are three bathrooms, which is handy.
It sleeps five. There's a kingsize bed, a room with twins, and a room with full-sized bunk beds. You have to go through the twin room to get to the bunk room. The third bathroom is off the main hallway.
There's a utility room with a washer-dryer. It's useful for wetsuits and sandy things. You can get into it from outside as well.
The garden is mostly a patio with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. There's also a shared outdoor area you can get to from the upstairs living room.
You can park one car on site. That's a plus for St Mawes.
It's a very short walk to Tavern Beach. The village centre is a flat walk away too. There are shops, pubs, and the ferry to Falmouth. The ferry runs all year.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got the National Trust's Trelissick Garden, and Glendurgan Garden. The Trebah Garden is just a bit further. For walks, the South West Coast Path is right there.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It was renovated a few years ago. Everything you'd expect is included: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, bedding. No pets, sorry.
