Ketch
Ketch is an apartment in Portscatho. It's in a little row of houses right by the harbour. You go up a short flight of steps to get to the front door.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The main thing about it is the view. From the living room and kitchen you look straight out over the harbour and Gerrans Bay. On a clear day you can see a long way. The double bedroom looks over the village, and the twin is a good size.
Outside, there's an allocated spot in the shared garden with a table and chairs so you can sit and look at the sea.
Portscatho itself is small. There's a village shop, a couple of places to eat, and a pub. The coastal path goes right past. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to St Mawes or Truro.
The Roseland peninsula is good for walking. You can walk to St Anthony's Head or around the coast to Pendower Beach. For a day out, Trelissick Garden is about half an hour's drive. So is the Fal Estuary for boat trips.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, TV, parking, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
