Roland Cottage
Roland Cottage is in Falmouth, near the town centre. It's a single-storey place, so everything is on one level. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the main street, the harbour, and Events Square where a lot happens. The National Maritime Museum is there. There's a quiet pub right next door, which is handy.
The beach at Gyllyngvase is about a ten minute walk. It’s a good sandy beach. Swanpool is a bit further, a smaller cove. You can get the ferry over to St Mawes from the harbour, which is a nice thing to do.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
If you want to explore, Pendennis Castle is on the headland. The coastal path is accessible from town. For gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan are about a 20 minute drive. The Helford River is lovely for a boat trip.
