Stream Side is in Pendra Loweth, which is a holiday village in a wooded valley just outside Falmouth. It's one of a collection of cottages. The main thing about the place is the shared facilities. There are tennis courts, a kids' playground, a small gym, a splash pool for children, and a little bar and cafe. All that is on site for you to use if you want.
The cottage itself sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating so it's well presented and comfortable. It's open plan downstairs, with French doors leading out to a private, south-facing terrace. That gets the sun in the summer. The stairs are fine.
Inside, there's a brand new kitchen, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
You can walk down the valley to Maenporth Beach in about twenty minutes. It's a nice, sandy beach.
Falmouth town is a short drive away. It's got a good mix of restaurants and pubs. The National Maritime Museum is there if that's your sort of thing. From the piers, you can get ferries across to St Mawes or up the river towards Truro.
If you want to explore, the Helford River is close by. The National Trust garden at Glendurgan is there, with its laurel maze. The Lizard peninsula is about a thirty minute drive, where you've got Kynance Cove and the lighthouse.
We take up to two dogs. There's a garden here for them, and plenty of woodland walks around the site.
