Erin Lodge is in Falmouth. It’s a first-floor apartment in a listed building. The ground floor is separate and has its own entrance round the back. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. We ran a homewares shop, so we furnished it with colourful things from there. Some of it’s a bit quirky.
The main thing is the view. The living room looks right out over the harbour, from Flushing round to the docks. You can watch the boats all day.
You’re right on the High Street. It’s a two-minute walk down the hill into the middle of Falmouth for shops and restaurants. The nearest pub is about five minutes on foot. The Prince of Wales Pier is close if you want a boat trip to St Mawes or up the river.
There’s on-site parking for one car, which is a real plus here. The garden is private, with a patio area. It’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are provided. No pets, sorry.
Falmouth’s got a bit of everything: the maritime museum, beaches like Gyllyngvase are a short drive or a decent walk, and you can get ferries across to St Mawes or up the Fal. For a good day out, Glendurgan Garden is about twenty minutes by car. The Visit Cornwall Falmouth page has an overview of what’s on.
