Erin Lodge is in the middle of Falmouth. It's a grade II listed building. It can look a bit formal from outside, but inside it's bright and comfortable. I own a local homewares shop, so I've furnished it from there. It's colourful. You might see a few things that make you smile.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped. It's the first-floor apartment of the building. The ground floor is separate and accessed from the back. The garden is private and just for you.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the harbour, from Flushing round to the docks. It's a proper working harbour.
You're on the High Street. It's a two-minute walk down the hill into town for shops, pubs, and restaurants. The nearest places are less than five minutes away on foot. The Prince of Wales Pier is close. From there you can get ferries across to Flushing, or boats to St Mawes or up the Helford River.
Falmouth has everything you need. Beaches are about a mile and a half away. The town gets busy in summer with regattas and festivals. It's a good base. The National Trust in Cornwall has several properties nearby, like Trelissick Garden, which is about a twenty-minute drive. The Visit Cornwall site is useful for planning.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher and washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
