Halcyon
Halcyon is a house in St Mawes. It's on one of the main streets up from the harbour. The walk back from the ferry is up a steep hill, so just be aware of that.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and has a Rangemaster cooker. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The main bedroom has a balcony that looks out over the harbour. It's a good spot for a coffee in the morning. The third bedroom has a single bed and bunk beds, which works for kids.
You get the garden to yourselves. It's a decent size, with a patio and lawn. There's an outdoor shower, which is useful for washing off sand or wetsuits.
Everything in St Mawes village is within walking distance: shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants. You can get the ferry from the harbour straight across to Falmouth. For a good coastal walk, you can pick up the South West Coast Path nearby.
On the facilities: parking for one car on the drive, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
