Lan-Y-Mor is in Portscatho. It's a three-storey, semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac just up from the village square.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional rather than luxurious. The stairs go between all three floors, just so you know.
The living room is right at the top. It's light and has big patio doors that open onto a small balcony. You get a good view over the village and Gerrans Bay from up there. It's where you'll probably spend most of your time.
The main bedroom has a sea view and an en-suite bathroom. The second room has twin beds, and the third has a bunk bed. There's also a family bathroom on that floor.
The kitchen is modern and has a dining area. You've got a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washing machine. The washing machine is in the big garage on the ground floor, which is useful for drying wetsuits and coats if the weather's bad. There's a small garden at the side.
The South West Coastal Path goes right through the village, so you can start walking from the door. The beach is a few minutes' walk downhill.
For days out, St Mawes Castle is about 20 minutes by car. The National Trust Trelo estate is a similar distance. Truro is roughly half an hour away if you need a bigger shop or the cathedral.
Facilities are all included: WiFi, TV, bedding, towels, and parking for one car on the drive. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning walks or visits, the National Trust Cornwall and Visit Cornwall sites are useful.
