Puffin
This is Puffin. It's a flat in the middle of Portscatho, right next to the sea. You can see the harbour and Gerrans Bay from the front rooms. The view is good.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and functional. It's not a luxury place.
The living room has those sliding doors out to a small balcony. You can sit out there. The kitchen is fine, it's got what you need including a washing machine. One bathroom has a shower, the other is just a toilet.
You're basically on the beach. Tatums Beach is right there, just a few steps down. For a bigger beach, Porthcurnick is about a ten minute walk. The South West Coast Path goes past the front door, so if you're here to walk, you don't need to drive anywhere to start.
Portscatho itself has the basics. There's a shop, a post office, a butcher, a bakery, and a pub. The art galleries are here too. The pub is popular, so booking for food might be wise in summer.
For other things to do, St Mawes is about ten minutes by car. The National Trust gardens like Glendurgan are maybe half an hour away. Truro is about forty minutes if you need a big shop or the cathedral.
