Sunset

Sunset is one of four cottages here in Hornick. It's semi-detached, next to Summer Breeze. You get your own enclosed garden patio, which is handy if you're bringing a dog.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The place is set in shared gardens, which are quite big and peaceful. There's a summerhouse and a play area for kids, if that's relevant.

You're a few minutes' drive from the south coast. Mevagissey is the closest, a proper old fishing harbour. Fowey is a bit further, it's bigger and has the regatta. The beach at Porthpean is nice and usually quiet.

For a big day out, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within 20 minutes. Truro is about half an hour if you need a city for shopping. If you fancy the north coast, Padstow is just under an hour's drive.

Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
