Bluebell Barn
This is Bluebell Barn in Grampound. Grampound is an in-between sort of village, about halfway between Truro and St Austell. The barn is a conversion, so the living room, kitchen and dining area are all in one open plan space. It works well for a family.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The main one has a kingsize bed and its own shower room. The second has a double bed. The third has bunk beds and a TV. There's also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Downstairs, there's a separate toilet and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there's a courtyard garden with furniture and a firepit. There's a garage you can use for storing bikes or surfboards. One dog is welcome.
The local pub is directly opposite the barn. They do food. The nearest beach is Pentewan, about six miles away. Mevagissey, which is a bit further, has a proper harbour with shops and places to eat.
For bigger days out, the Eden Project is about ten miles from here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about five miles away. The Roseland Peninsula is easy to get to from here for those quieter beaches.
The facilities are all there: bedding and towels are provided, there's a cot and highchair, dishwasher, wifi, and parking on site.
