Summer Breeze

You're a few minutes from the south coast. Mevagissey fishing village is close. Fowey is nearby too, a proper town with boats and a good few pubs.
The big attractions are a short drive away. The Eden Project is a ten minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about the same. St Austell Bay is very close.
For a proper beach day, Porthpean beach is a good option. It's unspoilt and has views across the bay. There's a golf course there.
Truro is about half an hour's drive if you need a city or the cathedral. The north coast, like Padstow, is a longer drive, maybe 45 minutes.
The cottage itself is part of a small group with a shared garden play area. There's a shop and a pub about a mile or so away.
