Peregrine Lodge is in Talskiddy, Cornwall. It's a wooden lodge. It's detached and on a site with a birds of prey centre next door. You'll hear the birds sometimes, which is nice if you like that sort of thing. It's set in about fifteen acres with some woods and a lake. The lake isn't fenced, so keep an eye on kids and dogs.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. There's a living area and kitchen all in one open space. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's in good order and well-equipped. Towels and bedding are included.
Outside, there's a large deck that's fully enclosed. It's got a table, chairs, and loungers. There's also a separate, raised deck at the back with a sunken hot tub.
The site has paths through the woods and around the lake. You can arrange to do some fishing here if you want. There's parking right by the lodge.
A shop and a restaurant are about half a mile away. The nearest pub is a mile and a half. Padstow is a ten-minute drive. It's busy, but it's got the harbour, shops, and all the restaurants. You can hire bikes there for the Camel Trail, which is a flat path along the estuary towards Wadebridge and Bodmin.
The north coast beaches are about a fifteen to twenty minute drive. Places like Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay, and Polzeath are that way. They're good for surfing. Newquay is in that direction too, about six miles.
