Peregrine Lodge is near the birds of prey centre in Talskiddy. It's a timber lodge, one of a pair detached from each other. You've got your own large deck with a dining table and loungers. There's also a separate deck at the back with a hot tub.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well kitted out and finished nicely.
The grounds cover about 15 acres. There's some woodland, footpaths, and an unfenced lake. You can fish in the lake if you arrange it beforehand.
It's a good spot for getting around. Padstow is a few minutes' drive. It's busy, but it's got the harbour, the shops, and all the restaurants. The nearest shop and a restaurant are about half a mile away. A pub is a mile and a half.
The Camel Trail is the main thing for cycling and walking. It's flat and follows the estuary to Wadebridge. You can hire bikes in Padstow or Wadebridge. A lot of people cycle from Wadebridge to Padstow, get some food, then cycle back.
For beaches, you're looking at about a six mile drive. Newquay, Polzeath, Watergate Bay. They're all good for surfing. There are surf schools at most of them if you want a lesson.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove, a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. You can bring one dog.
