Ocean View is an apartment above a big house in Mawgan Porth. The name is accurate. You look right out over the beach from the main living space and the balcony.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You're on the cliff side, so it's a walk down a path to get to the sand. Takes a couple of minutes. The beach is good for families, with rock pools and dunes. It's a surf beach with lifeguards in the summer.
The village has the basics. A shop for essentials, a newsagent, a surf hire place. There's a pub with a garden and a bistro. There's also a restaurant nearby run by a chef with a Michelin award.
You're on the South West Coastal Path. You can walk to Watergate Bay one way or towards Bedruthan Steps the other. The National Trust site for Bedruthan has the latest information on access.
Newquay is about fifteen minutes by car if you need more shops or a different scene. The airport is very close, which is handy if you're flying in.
