This is one of the apartments at Rosetta Apartments, in Newquay. This particular one is called Ocean Mist. It's on the ground floor.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It’s a five star place, so it’s well looked after. You can bring one dog.
The apartment is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area is all one space. There’s a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You’ve also got a patio area with a BBQ, and on-site parking.
Location wise, you’re pretty much set. You’re a five minute walk from Fistral Beach, using the path through the golf course. There’s a shop almost next door and a restaurant a couple of minutes away. A pub is about the same walk as the beach.
Newquay town centre is easy to get to from here. For a change from Fistral, the Gannel Estuary is nice for a walk and is good for paddleboarding. The South West Coast Path runs right past if you fancy a proper walk.
If you want to explore, Padstow is about half an hour's drive north. The Camel Trail there is a flat, traffic-free path for cycling or walking. In the other direction, you can get to the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan in roughly half an hour. The National Trust’s Trerice house and gardens are even closer, about ten minutes by car.
