Willow Cottage is in St Newlyn East. It's a proper Cornish village, not a resort. You're about four miles inland from Newquay if you need the surf. The cottage is at the end of a little lane.
It sleeps five across two bedrooms. One bathroom upstairs with a shower. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy. The stairs might feel a bit tight if you're tall.
The place feels rural, but the village shop is literally ten yards from the front door. The pub is about twenty-five yards. It's a proper local, they do food.
You're well placed here. Perranporth beach is four miles one way, a good long sandy beach. Truro is eight miles the other way for shopping. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are maybe thirty minutes. Padstow is half an hour up the coast too.
Stuff here includes a woodburning stove, a washing machine, TV, and parking for one car on the gravel next to the cottage. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
For walkers, the South West Coast Path is accessible from several nearby spots. The National Trust has a lot of coastal properties nearby too.
