Apartment 19 is in a complex called Water's Edge, on the Pentire headland in Newquay. It's a third floor flat with a lift, so you don't have to carry bags up the stairs. You get a balcony that faces the sea. The view is north-east, over towards the headland.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One's an ensuite. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living area is open plan. There are two sofas and a TV with Sky, including the Sports and Movies channels. Both bedrooms have a TV with Sky as well. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine.
You have access to the shared indoor swimming pool in the complex, which is open year-round. Parking is secure and on-site.
It's about a 15 minute walk down to Fistral Beach, maybe 20. That's the main surfing beach. Towan beach and the town centre are a bit further, maybe 25 minutes on foot. There's a coast path right on the doorstep if you want to walk without going into town.
Newquay's the main spot for surfing around here. The town has all the shops and places to eat you'd expect. For other things to do, the Newquay Zoo is good if you have kids, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby.
If you drive, Padstow is about half an hour north. Port Isaac, where they filmed Doc Martin, is a similar distance. You can hire bikes in Wadebridge and ride along the Camel Trail. Bodmin Moor is inland, maybe 40 minutes by car.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, electricity. There's a cot available. Sorry, no pets.
