Penthouse At Fistral
The Penthouse at Fistral is an apartment. It's on the top floor, above the café at the Headland end of Fistral Beach. That's the quieter, sunnier end. You can see the whole beach from the windows.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Everything works.
You're right on the beach. The door to the building is maybe 30 seconds from the sand. The café downstairs does good coffee and breakfast. It's seasonal, so check if it's open when you're here.
For food, you can walk across the sand to The Fish House for a proper meal. There's a fish and chip shop next to it too. At the other end of the beach, the Headland Hotel has a bar and restaurant. It's a good spot for a drink looking out at the sea.
Fistral Golf Club is just behind the beach cliffs. You can book tee times there if you want to play. The South West Coast Path runs right past, so the walking is straightforward. You can go towards Newquay town or out towards Pentire.
Newquay town centre is about a 15 minute walk along the path. It's got all the usual shops. The main thing here is the beach and the coast.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher and WiFi. There's parking on site. No pets, sorry.
