This is Driftwood. It's a cottage in Porth, which is just outside Newquay.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's nicely done up. It sleeps two people, one bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Everything's open plan downstairs. It's detached, so it's quiet. You get your own parking space.
The big thing is the roof terrace. It's decked and gets the sun. There's a barbecue up there.
You're about fifty yards from Porth beach. Literally seconds to the sand. There's a pub right on the beachfront that does food.
For surfing, Newquay's a ten minute walk along the coast path. It's got all the shops and things you'd need. If you want to try surfing, there are schools there.
Padstow is about half an hour's drive. The Camel Trail for cycling is there, or you can start in Wadebridge. You can hire bikes at either end. Watergate Bay is just up the coast.
Further afield, you've got the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan within half an hour. Truro's about twenty five minutes for a bit of city shopping.
Facilities: it's got a woodburner, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring them. No pets, sorry.
